Information handled when you visit

Like most websites, the hosting and security infrastructure may process technical request information such as IP address, browser/device information, requested URL, timestamps, and diagnostic logs needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site. We do not ask for sensitive personal information in the troubleshooting tools.

Troubleshooting tools

The on-page diagnostic selectors are designed to work from the model and symptom choices you make. They do not need an account. Do not enter private or sensitive information into free-text search fields.

Advertising

Google AdSense is not marked as enabled in this code build. If advertising is enabled later, this section applies from that deployment onward. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this site or other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Advertising cookies may use non-sensitive, non-directly-identifying information about visits and browser activity to make advertising more relevant. We do not provide advertisers with information such as a troubleshooting answer that directly identifies you as a person.

Visitors can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings ↗. Visitors can also use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out ↗ for participating advertising companies. Other advertising vendors, when used, will be disclosed here or through the active consent interface.

Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

When advertising or other non-essential technologies requiring consent are enabled for visitors in these regions, the production site must use the consent mechanism required for the active advertising stack. Consent choices and vendor disclosures should be presented before relevant non-essential storage or personalized advertising is used.

Cookies and local storage

Necessary browser storage may be used for site delivery, security, or a user-requested preference. Advertising, analytics, or other non-essential storage should be described in the Cookie Policy and, where required, controlled through the active consent platform.

External links

Guides link to manufacturer manuals and support sites. Those external sites operate under their own privacy practices.

Changes

This policy should be updated when the hosting, analytics, advertising, consent, or contact stack changes materially.
