Raise the mist level, confirm the tank has water, correct any overfilled base chamber, clear the air inlets/nozzles, keep the unit level, and inspect the water filter.
Warm mist is not immediate. Levoit says to allow about 15 minutes for heat-up; scale on the heating element can also reduce heating performance.
The LV600S red no-water indicator points first to tank water level, tank seating, and the water filter.
The LV600S sensor can be biased by room size, wall/corner placement, dust, or mist/moisture near the sensor inside the aroma-box area.
Levoit does not provide a consumer reset sequence for E1, E2, E3, E4, or E6. The LV600S manual treats these codes as a malfunction and directs owners to Customer Support.
Setup requires Bluetooth, a secure 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, the correct password, and close range between phone and humidifier. A documented 15-second reset is the next step if pairing still fails.
Check power and internet first. If those are fine, refresh VeSync, then remove/re-add the LV600S or use the documented 15-second reset and reconfigure it.
Rule out high-humidity condensation, excess water, shaking, uneven placement, and a leaking tank before assuming an internal failure.
