First take the Classic 300S out of Auto Mode. If it still produces little or no mist on a manual high setting, check water level, excess water in the base, the air inlet/nozzle, level placement, and the water filter.
This can be normal. By default, Auto Mode stops mist when the highest target humidity is reached and resumes after humidity drops.
The red no-water indicator points first to an empty tank, tank seating, or a dirty/worn water filter.
The built-in sensor can read incorrectly if the room is outside the model’s effective range or moisture has collected around the humidity sensor.
On the Classic 300S, Levoit treats E1 as a malfunction rather than a user reset code. The manual directs owners to Customer Support.
Use a secure 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, verify Bluetooth and the Wi-Fi password, keep the phone and humidifier close together, then use the documented 15-second reset if needed.
First confirm the humidifier and router have power and internet access. If it stays offline, refresh VeSync, then remove/re-add the device or use the 15-second humidifier reset.
Start with the outlet-valve sealing ring, tank/base seating, level placement, and the tank itself. Also rule out condensation caused by running above roughly 60% room humidity.
