If the Carepod One is producing mist but the floor becomes damp, Carepod recommends elevating the unit at least 2 feet, using Mist Level 1, and limiting a session with the timer. First make sure the moisture is settling mist rather than water escaping from under the stainless-steel tank.
A gentle internal dripping sound can be normal on the Carepod One. Carepod explains that condensation droplets can fall from the stainless inner lid cover back into the tank; the wand can also create water movement while operating.
Carepod directs owners to check three assembly points: the stainless-steel tank lip must align correctly, the inner lid cover must be pushed fully into place using the center white knob, and the silicone seal must be pressed fully around the edge.
Carepod says colored spots on the wand can come from minerals or impurities in the water. Clean the lower water-contact portion regularly with a soft sponge or toothbrush and keep the upper plug/connector area dry.
White dust around an ultrasonic Carepod One is usually a water-mineral clue. Carepod recommends filtered or distilled water and notes that tap water can leave white dust or particles.
